Sandra Umfreville, of Sidbury in Devon, has been announced as the lucky winner of a recent national competition from HorseHage. Her prize is a brand new Ifor Williams HB506 horsebox trailer plus vouchers for 42 bales of HorseHage forage.

The competition had been running for the past 12 months and had received a record amount of entries – almost 7,000. The prize was presented to Sandra by Guido Louis of Rockin’ Horse Productions – the daring stunt riding team that has taken the equestrian world by storm, thrilling spectators with their amazing riding skills at shows all over the UK.

Sandra currently owns three much-loved horses – a 17hh Skewbald Dutch Warmblood (who Sandra quotes as ‘being rubbish at everything but hacking but is loved and ridden out by the whole family’); a 15.2hh 7/8 Thoroughbred mare who is a real fun horse that can turn her hoof to a bit of everything; and, the most recent addition to the stable, Blondie - a 16.1hh chestnut mare who has show jumped and evented.

Said a delighted Sandra: "I never thought I would ever have a brand new horse box! I love the silver colour and will be taking one of my horses for a lesson in it tomorrow! Also the HorseHage will come in very handy – it’s nice to know that I can feed it with confidence, knowing it is dust-free, and the horses love it too!"
